Extended Online Control BCD396T UASD Programming Software
I want to share and remind users of the BCD396T UASD Programming Software, of the capabilities to capture Trunked System ID's when the scanner is the ID Search mode.
I live in the Austin Texas Metro area and monitor the Austin / Travis County Public Safety System (APCO 25). I have used Radio Reference to help in programming my scanner. Lately I have been leaving the scanner connected to the computer running the software and allowed it to logged all the unpublished talk group ID's not yet published in Radio Reference.
I have been most successful in capturing new ID's during the end of the month pays, weekends and any publicized community event like the MS150 Bike Ride. The program allows you to save the new talk group ID's and print them and update the Trunked system that you found them in.
Lastly as a suggestion I have a new channel find file that I made for each of my systems. They are setup for ID Search mode and quick keys. I did this so that I would not have to edit the system from ID Scan to ID Search and back again.
