• To anyone looking to acquire commercial radio programming software:

Please do not make requests for copies of radio programming software which is sold (or was sold) by the manufacturer for any monetary value. All requests will be deleted and a forum infraction issued. Making a request such as this is attempting to engage in software piracy and this forum cannot be involved or associated with this activity. The same goes for any private transaction via Private Message. Even if you attempt to engage in this activity in PM's we will still enforce the forum rules. Your PM's are not private and the administration has the right to read them if there's a hint to criminal activity.

If you are having trouble legally obtaining software please state so. We do not want any hurt feelings when your vague post is mistaken for a free request. It is YOUR responsibility to properly word your request.

To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum.

The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate; just purchase it.

For M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola).

This is a large and very visible forum. We cannot jeopardize the ability to provide the RadioReference services by allowing this activity to occur. Please respect this.

so i need my voice just in external speaker not internal

Like a PA system?

You want RX audio to be routed to both internal speaker as well as the external speaker?
and
You want to be able to send your voice to a PA amplifier and out the same speaker?

Yes, it can be done, but you'll need an amplifier to drive the speaker. You can set up a button for PA function.

OK, now I get it.

No easy way to do it without tapping mic audio and feeding that to the rear cab.

Around here (Western USA) they use headset systems. The headset systems interface to the radio as well as an internal intercom system. That might be the option to look at.

Because of short time in agencies they have to wear their mask and helmet on before approaching the incident location so they cant use headset, it seems i have to place separate mic and amp, besides its not really important what i saying to radio the thing we need to know comes out from ex speaker, thanks

Got it.

You could try installing a second radio, or maybe just a receiver hooked up to a speaker in the back cab.
Yes second radio would work. I want to know about functionality of accessory connector if you can help me

There's no microphone audio output on there.

There is an external microphone input that can be used as a second microphone jack, instead of the RJ50 on the front of the radio. You'd still need to find a way to tap audio off the microphone and feed it to an amplifier.

Batlabs.com might be a good source of info. They have some chat boards over there where someone may be able to assist.

They should not be wearing their helmet inside the truck, it is not safe. (In the USA, the NFPA standard prohibits it, and the new trucks have a bracket to hold each helmet.)

Do all of your fireman riding in the Pumper have Portables?
Use what is called bone mics or throat mics then you have firegrounds coms even in AIRPACKS.
The new AIRPACKS have comports that can hook to a intercom system in the pumper NOT CHEAP but an option.
