Looking to add external speakers to the following:
Bearcat Electra IV

Plectron, 70's vintage ( chrome with aqua band and red light on front)

Regency 8 channel monitoradio/scanner

I had already soldered on 1/8" jack plug and it's the wrong size for all 3

I appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you all

WOW! Your testing my memory..I believe your dealing with an RCA phono jack on the scanners...not your standard audio plug. The plug from an old audio patch cable should work.

What you have is either a 3/32" (not 1/8") jack or an RCA "phono" connector. The 3/32 LOOKS like a 1/8 but is a shade smaller. The RCA looks like neither of these but was at one time used by some for external speaker connections. Just look closely at what you have and decide what you need.
