I know this has been posted but I can't find it in a search. Is there a simple way to extract the frequencies/tones/NACs, etc... from recordings? I don't want to stare at it for hours writing them down. Thanks.

You can get all that information via loading your recordings into the Universal Scanner Audio Player.
For best results, copy your files from the SD card onto your PC. Once you do that, you can use the 'Open Folder' seelction in the players file menu to add the 'top' folder, which has all the individual folds with recordings generated by the scanner.

(I created a 'user_rec' folder on my PC to receive them.)

It works for files from the x36HP and SDS series Uniden scanners, as well as for files from my TRX-1. The display of files is in a spreadsheet style, and you can sort via any of the attributes captured. You can also use the filter option to specify that you only want to see one frequency, or agency, or talkgroup (basically any of the captured data fields)

Your anti-virus software may either try to block this, or warn you about it. Mine did (Norton), but I overrode the messages & have had zero issues.

This is great! Thank you!
You're welcome

I find it's been really useful on one of the systems in my area. NTIRN. I can focus on a single, unknown, talkgroup, sort them by date & time, then listen to parts of, hopefully, one conversation. which helps confirm what TGID is used for which department.

After I saw your graphic, I went to my recordings folder to look at it. It is sorted by month and date, but not by year i.e.

10-24-2021
10-25-2022
10-26-2021

Is there a way to sort it by the year?

Edit: Found it
