This has been going on for a couple of weeks... anyone know what the deal is? I cannot update my scanner library. Nothing on Google about it.
Post #2 explains the problem, no one has more answers than that except for @Whistler_Support who hasn't updated us.
I read in one of the forums that Whistler was in the process of relocating, and that many of their services would not be available until sometime mid-October.
You can bet your bottom dollar that when Upman was alive he would have kept us up on what was going on since we fork over that much money for a scanner.
Doubt he would have kept you up on what was going on with Whistler scanners
I was referring if Uniden was in that same boat. I'm sure if Uniden had this problem, Upman would have kept us in the loop.
Whole different company, Uniden has @JoeBearcat who shows up a lot more than @Whistler_Support too, but you can't make one company act like another.
Maybe I expect too much from a company. I always called it customer support. I'm in the same boat since I have a TRX-1.
Not to disrespect anyone, but I'm just so confused by all the people that freak out when they can't do a weekly database update on their scanner. My databases on both Uniden and Whistler are waaay out of date, but then again I program everything myself and don't rely on a database update when I need to add something.

By the way, Whistler renewed their domain name on 9/29. They may have moved their hosting provider as well.

If you hurry the website is up again and functioning lol. Time to download all the software and keep a copy just in case ...haven't tried the updates, but will in a minute

I would avoid trying to do a firmware update until someone says it works. Several members have lost their firmware trying to do an update.
