Headed out on an 8-day Carnival Cruise on May 11 on the Carnival Magic out of Ft. Lauderdale to St Maarten, St Kitts, San Juan, and Grand Turk and trying to set up some new channels to scan on TRX-1 while down there and I am finding Puerto Rico, St Kitts and St Maarten frequencies when I look them up in the database, but there doesn't seem to be a way to import these via the Library Import in EZ Scan or am I just not navigating correctly here? Any suggestions greatly appreciated - thanks!

Just a heads up....About 2 years ago going on an NCL cruise out of NY, had a handheld in carry-on luggage. X-ray picked it up and they would not allow me to take it onboard. They did secure it for me and returned it at the end of the cruise.

I was always under the impression that the version of EZ-Scan that Whistler provides with scanners sold in the U.S. and Canada only contain data for the U.S. and Canada. The only way I know to do this would be to manually program the systems. I could be wrong, but that is what I've always heard. Here is what's listed on Whistler's web site:

"The entire USA and Canada databases from www.radioreference.com are stored on a standard MicroSD Card that is included with the TRX-1..."

Sorry, if anyone knows another way, I'd like to hear it also.

For example, here is snippet from Scannermaster.com's listing for the TRX-1.

"All USA/Canada services and frequencies are pre-programmed onto the included SD card..."

You are 100% correct.
