EZ-Scan Update 3.47.0.707?

I had opened ez-scan today and did a check updates and a new ez-scan update popped up. 3.47.0.707. I did not install it as after four (4) years of no updates it just seemed off. Anyone know what it is or if it does update something?

The update is available on both the TRX-1 and TRX-2 EZ-Scan.

Just checked my EZ-Scan software (TRX-1e and TRX-2e) and they say there's no update. I'm running version 3.45 (Version 3.45 - November 22, 2022).

Possibly because you are in the UK. There are separate EZ Scan downloads for the TRX-1E and TRX-2E.

I did run it through Virus total and it tracks with findings from the previous version. VirusTotal

Interesting that there was no post , announcement just surprise.

Won't be any updates for e no databases to update

I did the update last weekend after @devicelab breathlessly emailed everyone about it (he apparently gets off on updating software) and haven't noticed any appreciable differences but I do have to say that, prior to updating, I experienced the occasional crash. Now, that seems to have stopped.

I shouldn't have bothered; I don't use the database errorbase at all.

The library updates points to some Whistler servers in Arkansas, that probably no longer exists and EZ-Scan needs to use a new IP adress to find any updates, if the new company running the Whistler business, Goliad in Cincinnati, have come to an agreement with Blanton of RadioReference to use their database.
