frequencies in the Conventional Frequency tab, correct? You entered the name in the first column, then the frequency in the second column, Mode should be AM, etc. Make sure the frequencies are in the correct Scanlist, on the extreme right.
In General Settings, the Scanlist you put the frequencies in should be Enabled and for now Default. <<< Ok al good so far. , i am up to this part now , whats next chuck plz ?

In the Advanced Features, make sure Scan Set One reads "1-200, SW". If you've done all that, Save Configuration to Scanner, and Archive as before. You will see a number of Archive files (zipped I believe), but they are saved by date and time.

scan set it should be set to 1-200, SW <<<< This is what it showed when i first started program, but now it says scanlist 01 ????
On scan lists , i dont know if i am doing correctthing or not but i am only enabling the number i think i need for the freqs to go in ..what i mean is , if i wanted milair in say number 5, i would only click on box 5, and fill in...leaving al the rest empty.

You are confusing the two things, scan sets and scan lists. For scan sets you click on the scan lists shown, a pop up box appears and you select ALL ON at the bottom. Scan lists are selected for each freq, as you showed us (Scan List 50) and again are enabled on the General Tab for the scan Lists shown.

Have tried to uninstall ezscan , hoping it would reset settings, so it would read 1-200, SW again , that did not work

That will not do it.

You do not need to change the default list each time, the only thing that is used for is to store freqs if you do not choose a scanlist when you program them in.
