F-150 Install

Had to make some equipment changes in this F-150...

Equipment Installed:

Troy 30" Console
Harris XG-100M multiband mobile
Motorola XTL5000 UHF O5
Motorola XTL5000 VHF O5
Motorola Impres chargers x2 (APX/XTS)
Panasonic FZ-G1 Toughpad in a Gamber Dock

Are the Motorola Impres chargers bolted to the rear of the console or mounted within it to the rear of the cup holders?

They are mounted in a faceplate at the back. Troy makes one for 2 Impres chargers to be mounted side by side.

Looks great...awesome instalation!!! How do you like the Panasonic fz-g1??? Have you used it with Motorola CPS to program radios??? If so how does it work???

It's pretty good, my only complaint is that it has a loud cooling fan that gets rather annoying. The CF-19 that it replaced was virtually silent.

It's not for programming but I expect it would work fine if you are using USB cables and use a Bluetooth keyboard or dock it.

Thanks...never thought about the fan! I like the smaller size for vehicles with little space available for a computer.
