CBS4) LONGMONT, Colo. A CBS4 Investigation learned that a primary Federal Aviation Administration computer malfunctioned in April, affecting air travel at Denver International Airport and other Colorado airports.
This was the second time in six months that this primary FAA computer went down and air traffic controllers said the problem jeopardized passenger safety.
Travelers said they had no idea why their flights were delayed that day. Through Freedom of Information requests, CBS4 obtained internal audio tapes and now know what happened and how it impacted air travelers.
