Fairfax P25 System

Is it just me or is anyone else getting very poor audio quality. It sounds choppy and mixes digital once and a while. I use a PSR600 with an 860Mhz roof antenna. I am in the city of Fairfax very close to the site transmitter.
They are periodically shutting down the Type II system leaving us stuck with P25. I am crystal clear when receiving Type II.
I never had this problem when the STARS system brought on the VSP. They have always been clear as far away as Richmond.

Any ideas??

I have never had any problems with the audio quality on the new p25 system from woodbridge with my pro-96. I am listening to it currently and don't notice any poor audio.

Early on, I had some minor reception issues in Chantilly... PSR-800 and an 800MHz rubber duck... last I checked, though, it had improved significantly. I haven't brought my scanner to work in a little over a month though, so I don't know what it's like now.
