We sure made up for the lack of storms this summer with the line that came through today.
To all the SKYWARN SPOTTERS, Great Job, Keep Up The Good Work.
There certainly was a lot of activity around the area. Oakland county never went under a severe thunderstorm warning, but we still had the net going. The break in the weather allowed us to break from the skywarn and do our monthly Hospital net, and ARPSC net. Skywarn net is being shut down as I type.
I'll say that was a good storm.
On the way to coffee with the boys ran into the flooding over the curb, heavy intense lightning, and winds 40 MPh + in Westland.
At one time on A2 Trail, I saw the flash, a small pop, and watched the lightining travel all up and down the power lines.
Well, the weekends here. Time to build another VFD truck.

Berrien county was pretty uneventful. I was in Berrien Springs for the SVR we had that day, about 0845. Wasn't quite as severe as I expected, but that greenish-black sky was pretty cool!
