False location display

I live in White Bear. Why is it on my GRE 800 that is shows WBL fire on the display when the transmissions are coming from Roseville and Maplewood. Confused

What talk group or freq are you listening to ?

False Locations

All I know is that when I programed the scanner that I entered the info. for Maplewood and Roesville .

When you hear the wrong thing... Make note of the name and freq that shows on the display and i will check into it !

You probably have the alpha tag programmed wrong. Double check the talkgroup that you have programmed for WBL.
