Looking for info on this model, bought one for $1 just for the crystals . Has four inside , anyone know what type they are ? I cannot get it to power up but four crystals are worth what I paid anyhow.

Is that the hand held model??? I once owned one and to this day regret parting with it. If you decide to move it along, I would appreciate a consideration.

Had a really hot front end and was extremely selective for a radio of that vintage. Very little P25 here, plenty of analog in Pittsburgh land.

Thank You!

Fortunately, GA
I can't get it to power up or I would probably use it.

Have one of those. Got it for a $1 at a garage sale. It powers up with 4 AA batteries. The connector looks like it takes a 9 volt, but it is 6 volts. The only problem I have with mine is an open squelch. It won't scan. I have to manually jog it through the crystals.
I know that RS used to sell the 4 AA adapter with the snap on connections.
