Not sure if Fat Albert flew during the show but there was definitely radio traffic on this frequency towards the end of their performance.

Wow, I just realized it's been 20 years since I was part of a static display of an EC-130E (ABCCC) at this airshow.

Sorry, slightly off topic...

I was there on Sunday and Fat Albert did in fact fly. However it would appear that they have revamped the show. Fat Albert no longer leads off the Blue Angels show but rather flew at the beginning of the day. I'm not sure if the LeapFrogs jumped from Fat Albert or another plane but it did take off shortly before the LeapFrogs jumped with the flag for the national anthem.

Sadly Fat Albert no longer does the JATO takeoff anymore.

Was a great show. Along with the Blue Angels there were great static displays including a pair of A-10's, a pair of F-35's, F/A-18 cockpit mockup, B-25, P-51 and lots of civilian and commercial aircraft.

For Albert they were working up the engines on the Saturday. They also fixed a windshield. I have yet to see Fat Albert perform at Fargo
