In the past I used the free version of DSD+ just by using VAC to get audio from SDR Console into DSD+ by selecting the input audio device. Now that I've subscribed to and installed the fastlane files, seems there's no longer an option to select the input audio device, and the program is stuck looking for a TCP connection.

Is it still possible to simply have it decode audio from an input source, or are you required to have it interface directly with the SDR with the FMP programs?

Sorry for being such a newbie...

Yes you can still use input source.

If you want to monitor a trunk system that uses multiple frequencies for a site (e.g. DMR: TIII, CAP+, CON+, CAPMAX), then using FMPx with DSD+ is required to be able to do this. You can use this method so long as FMPx supports your SDR (RTL, Airspy, RSP1A/2) otherwise your stuck using the input source and only monitoring one frequency.
