Fauqier County Fire Dispatch?

Anyone having trouble picking up the dispatches for Faquier Fire?

I'm pretty sure I have the system set up correctly because I pick up pretty much all of the other talk groups including channel 11B, but 11A doesn't have any activity. What's going on?

They dispatch on 11B (talkgroup 25136). I don't know why they don't use 11A for dispatch. Most of the Northern Virginia departments use the "A" channel for dispatch, and the "B" channel for response. Hope this helps.

I have heard Fauqier dispatch on 11A before. Maybe this is a temporary thing due to staffing with dispatchers..? I know PWC didnt use 5B for a awhile after they swithed to trunked. They were using 5A for dispatch and response so maybe Faquier will adjust their procedure as time goes on. Also remember you can listen to the UHF simulcast of Fauqier on 494.4375
