Good morning,

I use my scanner in work in New Jersey well I set up a list in my favorite and when I
went the list I wanted to monitor the data within the list disappeared.

I went to Sentinal Software on my lap tops and also the data contained
within the list was gone !!!!!!!

This has happened before once or twice I do have numerous list
programmed in my 436 and 536.

My question what causes this to happen and how to avoid it ?????

THANK YOU ADVANCE for the solution !!

If I had to guess, I would say maybe you tried to create a different profile and deleted it. FLs are not unique to profiles. Profiles only control what is sent to the scanner. So, if you delete the FL in one profile, it's gone in all of them.

No sir, only 1 profile and try to add list, the list adds then updates to the data bases and other FL maintenance I am finding data just deletes.

No idea. If the FL was still showing in Sentinel, but everything within the FL was gone, it must have been deleted somehow.

If the data were showing in Sentinel, there are some options to try, but if it's not in Sentinel, either it was deleted or it was deleted in the scanner then the scanner was read which would delete it in Sentinel.

I'm not following this too well - been a long day I guess.

Are you saying the data in your scanner AND the data on your computer have both disappeared?

If that is the case, the only thing I can think of is some type of inadvertent deletion.

If the data is still in the scanner but not the computer, I'm sure you could read the scanner with Sentinel and save the files to your computer.

You may check and see if the Sentinel folder path was inadvertently changed. (In Sentinel, select Tools>Options and see what it shows as the Sentinel Folder path.) Then using your Windows Explorer, navigate to this folder and see if there are files that look like f_0000002.hpd and f_list.cfg. If they are not there, do a search on your computer to see if they may be elsewhere.

If the data is still in the computer, but not the scanner, you could do a write to scanner from Sentinel.

Good morning,

data is lost in both, say I made a Hudson County favorites list then added my agencies I wanted to monitor.
then say I add other favorite list and do other updated the data base & agencies, then under my Hudson County favorite list all the agencies goes missing, it has Hudson County then under that favorite all the data goes missing this does not happen every time I update the data base or add other favorite other time to time. its happen at least 3 times since I own both scanners.
