I recently have been reworking my favorites lists and trying a different way of organizing them. Today I took one of my SD cards and wiped it clean to do a fresh start. I loaded the FLs onto the card and put in in the scanner. Every time I change something in Sentinel, FLs and Systems that I had on prior are now off and I have to manually turn the Systems back on after a change. For instance I have a FL for the Railroads with several systems (different railroads) and some of them have departments. For a system with departments I had to, as I said, turn the system and Departments on while systems with out departments where on from the start. Am I missing something in Sentinel?

There are, in the profile, which favorites lists should be downloaded and which should be active.

Then within each favorites list, there is a setting for whether the avoid should be on for each system.

Within each system are departments, with a setting for whether the avoid should be on.....

....the whole way down to channel or frequency.

Thanks Mark, I will look for that. I knew there was that option for the Fls in the Profile but I did not know it went to the systems and departments.

If you have it the way you want it in the radio... write the radio to the software.... then your current settings gs will be included in future writes to the radio.

Mark I looked today but did not see the option for the systems and down. Can you screen shot it for me?

Not sure. Never looked for that. What is the difference in the two symbols?

If Its a - it means you need to turn it on in the menu on the scanner....to do this click on menu then set scan selection then select list to monitor then turn on the list you want to hear. Once you do it will look like an * on the screen giving you the ability to select it on or off with your quick key.

- means that Quick Key is not assigned.
* means that Quick Key is assigned but not enabled.
The number in that position means it's assigned and enabled.
