Fawn Lake/Lake Wilderness/Lake of the Woods/Spotsy & Ora

Does anyone have the security/public safety freqs for Fawn Lake, Lake Wilderness, or Lake of the Woods?

Lake of the Woods uses 151.8050 [ d156]. I'm not sure if this is used for public safety. They are also licensed for several other frequencies; do a search in the FCC database under Lake of the Woods.

Fawn Lake is licensed for 461.8500 (repeater) under the name N T S INC. I tried going out there once and listening, but didn't hear anything. I suspect the frequency is in use, just not used much.

I don't have anything for Lake Wilderness.

Fawn Lake

The security officers at Fawn Lake, Lake Wilderness are officers from Lake of the Woods security under contract. They would still most likely use the Low Security channel.

I seem to recall that Lake of the Woods security used 35.96 [100.0] when the county was still on 39.74. Is this the low security channel?

I have not heard any activity on 151.8050 or 461.8500. I will try 35.96 and let you know if I hear anything on that freq.

You are absolutely correct. I put in 35.96 and that is still used for Lake of the Woods security. I still have not heard any activity on the other two freqs. The calls I have heard thus far have been directly in LOW and not Fawn Lake or Lake Wilderness. Since they are suspose to be on contract for those other areas I will continue to monitor to see if I hear any traffic in those areas. Thanks for everones help.
