I have a pro-96 and im wondering now since i have it will it descramble the fbi and other goverment frequencies in ohio etc. Im also still wondering weather marrysville prison would be on the marcs system, or does it have its own set of frequencies, im sure someone in that area would be monitoring them???? seems like it would be good to monitor if i could find it out. thanks every one for the help, Bill wc8i@yahoo.com

The FBI and other federal agencies while using P25 radios still encrypt their
communications. No scanner will decode encrypted tranmissions. You can still program
them in with the hope you may catch them communicating "In The Clear".
All Ohio DRC facilities are using MARCS. You can find their talkgroups in the database.
