fbi / secrect service freq ??

Hello all this may be a stupid question but I have Fbi and secrect service frequiences in my pro 2055 scanner I really never heard anything on theses channels are some in the clear or is it just a waste of space in this scanner ?

Except for some frequencies, FBI frequencies vary by location. USSS frequencies will only be active if the USSS is around. Search 162-174 MHz and 406-420 MHz to see what frequencies are being used near you.

Where did you get your FBI frequencies from? I have some NYC FBI frequencies on my message board. If you find anything new, please post.

i sure will but i got them from this site snd the one you posted thanks again and would u know what frequiences ham radio uses in case of a major emergency or something big happening

I am a ham. Never experienced any big emergencies, but keep major area ham repeaters programmed in and I would also recommend the national 2 meter simplex freq 146.5200 MHz. That is a common simplex calling frequency. May be of some use.

I will see if I can dig up some ham radio info for the Brooklyn area

145.2300 MHz
146.7300 MHz (King County Radio Club)
147.3000 MHz
