FCC Database searches

Who has clever ways to perform searches in the FCC Database?

I am searching out the Nevada Statewide Radio System currently. I have searched via freq and coordinates as well as call sign. I don't see a way to search for services like YP so needless to say when I search for the State I get al kinds of results that I then have to wade through to find what I want.

Isn't there a way to get a single(long) page result so you don't have to click down to get more information?

I almost wish you could write your own query rather than via drop down menus.

Go to:
http://wireless.fcc.gov

On the right side, select "license search" (under the "Licensing" header)
under the license search text entry box, select "Advanced Search"

Or....just click the direct link:
http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchAdvanced.jsp

You will then be able to limit your search to YP only results...

Be careful. The FCC lists a lot more frequencies at sites than are actually used. Whether this is Nevada's way of planning for the future or just spectrum grabbing, we really only want the frequencies that are actually used at a site, not what the FCC says should be used there.

Yep, I won't submit to Lindsay until after I or someone else has confirmed them. Once I make up the "grocery" list, I'll post in the Nevada Forum for people to verify/confirm as I will in my local area and with the trip across 80 next week. The idea is to clean it up and make accurate not just fill it up with stuff.

As an example I've changed and added around my area, now I can listen to one tower whereas before it wasn't working.

I believe some of the frequency users such as Nextel just want the frequencies to keep other agencies/users from getting them.
