That link does no good if you're looking for information cooresponding to a frequency.

Sure it does, it just takes a couple more clicks of the mouse--

--->>SEARCH Licenses
---->>Advanced License Search
Then scroll down to "Frequencies"

The ULS search interface is what I use as well. And for what it is worth, the FCC does a lot of system maint. work on the weekends sometimes which is probably the cause of any problems you're having.

Don't forget that we have a fully functional FCC database hosted here on the site -- it only has public safety loaded though.

their system has been running a bit slower than usual this week/weekend.

At work, we have a PC dedicated to it, and the returns were coming in like molasses... if at all.

Merry Christmas!

I also offer an alternative source of data that is extracted from the FCC General Menu Reports Website. It covers all current and pending licenses from 30-512 MHz and 851-960 MHz (with the exception of cellular and Nextel) for the northeastern US, including of course, Connecticut. It is mySQL based and very fast, and offers multiple search criteria. I wish I could have a county search field, but the data I extract does not include this info.

I update this database about 4 times a year, on a roughly quarterly basis. It can be found at:

Fox Charlie Charlie Database...HELP!

Good Friday Morning All,

At one time, I had a link to the F.C.C. Database that allowed me to look up from callsign, frequency, or QTH any U.S. based radio system (except those 'secret' ones, LOL!). Somehow, either my brain or computer has lost that (www.fcc.gov./?/?/?.html?) particular site.

I don't have a printer, so I was "hand copyiing" the one's I heard down on paper and transfering them to an Excel spreadsheet.

Does ANYONE know that link and would share it?

OH, for you Database Admin's...Is there a database that I can use to actually make up the fields as as I am "inputting" the information have it check (at the time) to see if I've already put that info in and either allow me to either add it in it's proper place (same call, different frequency) or go back and start again with another entry (ie. KKR-877, 154.770 entered before, hit a button and go back to the "blank" and enter KKB-960, 155.01 ?) This also could be used to log Ham Radio contacts as well. It really doesn't matter if it's a WIN program or one I could use in Linux, long as it works, LOL! The reason I ask is that I can't sit for hours entering info and have to do it when I can, sometimes over some days. ;-)

Thanks to EACH of you for ALL of your marvelous help. I hope that in some small way I can be of help to each of you.

Respectfully submitted,
73,

Donald J. "Buck" Saunders/KA5-LQJ
