If you look at the FCC license, you will often see a number of frequencies listed.
You will see one, or more marked as FBx, where x = a number. That is the repeater output.
You will likely see another frequency marked as MO, which is usually the mobile transmit frequency, or the repeater input.
Sometimes there may be more than one MO frequency, sometimes for talk around, sometimes for simplex use, but usually there will be one for the repeater input.
Sometimes the MO frequencies can be under a different license.
UHF band plan is often 5 MHz offset. 800MHz is often 45MHz offset.
VHF, all bets are off, usually. There was never really any standard for the LMR users on VHF.
