You guys know that we strongly discourage political discussions at RadioReference. It's not that we are ignoring the politics of the situation as I think everybody on staff and the moderation team understands that the majority party often makes sweeping changes to the status quo. The problem is that political arguments often ensue.

Since you all seem to be talking politics and not radio, which I suspected would happen when I approved this thread, we're done.
