The FCC has issued a Notice of Unlicensed Operation (NOUO) and siezed jamming equipment from a SW Dallas resident responsible for intentionally jamming Dallas County VHF channels. The resident was tracked by agents of the Dallas Field Office using RDF base and mobile equipment.

FCC Dallas Field Office NOUO

For those unfamiliar, the FCC Dallas Field office is at LBJ and Forest (9330 LBJ) in north east Dallas. The big building with several antennas on the roof.

Interesting. The zip code listed in the linked notice is for that part of far southwest Dallas, south of I-20, west of Duncanville, and to the east of Joe Pool Lake.

I had noticed some problems at times with monitoring Dallas. S.O., but did not realize it may have been from jamming.
