It is the download in .zip, HTML, or .txt format. Un-zip, it is the text file, in a pipe delimited format.
Labels for each field would be nice, some are self explanatory. A part of this file:
HD|3065506|0009480095||W6XXX|A|HV|04/18/2019|04/18/2029||||||||||N||||||||||N||
Most common use for this is integrating to an XML for logging.

Hey, can anyone help parse a download pipe formatted text file from FCC ULS search
You encounter the pipe delimiter when you do query download of a block of licenses or tower ASR data. I use Excel to either import into Excel or change to a comma delimiter for CSV files to import into GPS units and GIS mapping files.

It can be a single license or any number of. Using Excel, to CSV is fairly simple. KML you can load straight into Google earth.

pipe delimiter
For those who may be scratching their heads, the pipe delimiter (|) is the symbol above the "\" on the key board. When you do a query with a single or multiple licenses in the ULS or ASR data bases, the FCC will email you a large file with fields separated by the pipe delimiter. Even one license is a daunting down load separated I believe by 4 sub data bases that make up the complete license file. A little studying and you can glean the info you desire. To use the file, read above. Good luck.
