Thanks! I live nowhere near a reasonable reception area for this system, so this really helps!

Brett,
Thanks for taking the time to make the posts about the McChord, Lewis & FDC TRS. Great info. I too am much to far away to hear this system but have saved it for future consumption.

A question for the right honorable database admin: First, thanks for all the work you do here- appreciated by me for one.

Cannot this information be harvested from directly from here and added to the DB without a formal submission?

As discussed, the sheer numbers of posts here is quite small- So, is a formal submission a requirement to get it into the DB or cannot a DB Admin harvest something that catches his eye and submit it him/herself and add it pro-actively or is that precluded by management?

Just wondering, not finding fault or questioning policy-merely posing a question. Again thanks for volunteering your time to the benefit of all.

.

I just corrected my self and the prior post as I just noticed the new freq 410.525 on UniTrunker. I am not sure when this came online. It is not indicating as a control chan.

Hmmmmm....

System Name: Federal Detention Center SeaTac
Location: Sea Tac, WA
County: King
System Type: Project 25 Standard <=============== Mot UHF II
System Voice: APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive
Last Updated: Updated Talkgroups (6 Updated, 0 Deleted)
Hits: 51

A minor thing, but it would cause someone to mis-program such an important system :)

Ok, I will defer to your judgment. I just see this system more like McChord and PSNS than like the DOD 380 systems.

My scanners require it to be set as Mot II UHF with the custom table. The system does not have a WACN or NAC that I can see and doesn't seem to transmit it's bandplan as a Project 25 system does.

Unitrunker also IDs it as a Mot type II UHF/VHF. It looks very diferent from the DOD 380 systems around here with Unitrunker.

Thanks, Lowboy654

After going back to the Wiki and looking at ASTRO IMBE, I was not so sure about it after all. I just want it to look and ultimately work correctly on download.

First it needs to be in a bank that does not trunk anything else since the custom table takes over the complete bank.

Enter the 4 CCs in sequential locations anywhere in the bank 406.6 407.05 407.325 408.25 and make them all mode type MO as you go.

Program-Trunk and then Mode to set the bank to MOT

Program-Trunk-Func-2 to enter the custom table: base 406 Off 397 step 12.5
be sure to press Enter on each one.

Program-Trunk-Func-3 to set the cc mode to Table. Press Enter.

Manual and start scanning.

Good Luck.
