Haven't been monitoring EMS lately, but came across an unusual unit ID 84 Nora BLS unit operating in Jamaica, Queens, this is prior to the Coronavirus issue and listening today on the Queens East frequency heard 84 John, 84 Mary and 84 Oscar. Also 61Adam, 69 Eddie. 6# units (61 to 65) could be Cushman units in the past but only Mary thru Queen. Anyone have info?

Thanks for the reply Charlie, but as I indicated the 84 units have been in use way before the Coronavirus started. I was reviewing an ACR from 2018 and noticed 84Nora was on the call. It seems like they must be some sort of extra units devoted to high call areas???

I asked someone I know who works in Brooklyn for FDNY EMS.

They're not familiar with those call signs.

They said "P" and "Q" are the Gator and Cushman units (on paper).

They confirmed A-G and I-O are BLS units.
