FDNY CITYWIDE

I heard the FDNY Citywide dispatcher call the "PSAC Radio Mechanic". The FDNY radio mechanic mistakenly answered but it was all straightened out. Question is...What is a PSAC radio mechanic?

I'm guessing it is their Public Safety Answering Center, perhaps it's a separate radio tech for it.

The radio mechanic on CW is just for apparatus radios and MDT's. The computerized radios in PSAC are maintained by an in-house, dedicated tech who's just a phone call (and a flight of stairs) away.
