FDNY fireground comms on VHF?

I thought FDNY was completely UHF now?

For the most part they are. I just caught this activity on accident since I never deleted the vhf channels on my scanner.

Fdny has apx8000 radios with access to vhf, uhf,700 and 800.

All those bands are and can be used.
Primary uhf but there things in the other bands.
