I might be late to this but recently started listening to FDNY Fireground Tac radio on the UHF DOITT system per division. Is there a repeater on the trucks that rebroadcasts the simplex Fireground tac radios or how does this work?

I believe the battalion Chiefs vehicles have mobile repeaters for confirmed fires. The fireground tactical gets rebroadcasted on the Doitt system.

Its the Division Chiefs vehicle that rebroadcast Fireground to the Doitt system.

Hi I am new in New York City. And still finding out what is good to hear So can you hear the New York City DoITT (UHF) system everywhere in the City and can you hear the NYFD talk groups on this system everywhere
