This meeting will once again be held at the Delta Cafe at the 31st Street and Peoria Ave. here in Tulsa on February 21st at 7:00 P.M. The address is 3330 South Peoria Ave. Please bring all your scanner and radio related gear if you want to show it off or have someone show you how to program etc or if you have or want to talk about current radio systems and frequencies etc.. I know this meeting has had a hard time getting organized either due to the weather or people getting sick etc. but, I really hope you guys can come because we had a lot of fun when we did it before a few months back. I wouldn't mind seeing a 996T hard at work. Hope to see you there. Can I also have a rough count on who will go? Thanks...

what is the difference between the pro96 and pro97, is it that one is a digital and the other is not?

what brand of scanner do you recommend?

i would like to stay with mobile scanner

your answers are appreciated

I'd like to come. But I'm rather reluctant. I'm very proud of the way I've programmed my scanner and I'm afraid all my hard work won't stand up to professional scrutiny. I'm also afraid that you all will make fun of me because I don't use a computer to program. It's all old school thumb work.

I'm with you on this: there ain't nothing wrong with the old fashioned way; it's how I programmed my 785! :D

Thumbing it pacifies my natural tendencies for an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Plus it makes it a lot easier to program while on the toilet.

Maybe I shouldn't have added that last bit.

Okay folks. I would like to know how many are going to be at this meeting. I want to know now if there will be more then just Commshrek and I. I don't want to piss off the Delta Cafe again and try to explain to them why nobody showed up. It's bad for business and makes me look like a fool. So can I please get a count of who will be there. Thanks....

I have to echo aladd955's sentiments. This was my first time to meet others with the same intersts as mine and I too am looking forward to the next meeting. Thanks all for the comraderie. Chuck
