anyone have the us marshalls freqs for the greater los angeles area well as dea and us customs i know some are now p25

Down here in South Florida absolutely NO activity on those channels--hasn't been for years. They r in the 167 band using an FBI freq and also around 171 for court activities.
Their main system is the State of Florida SLERS system--which is totally unbreakable..

Yes...Federal Agencys have the ability and capability to talk on statewide radio systems..this is true. But there is still the VHF and the UHF Federal band that is still used by Federal Agencys. You can monitor..In some locales in simple in the clear analog, P25 and P25 encrypted.

Federal Agencys still have their own radio system, for communicating among themselves, as well as "Inter-Agency" comms.

United States Marshals Service at least in the L.A. / Orange Counties area are "Encrypted" have not heard them in the clear for a while...

in sacramento ca i have hered usms on 163.200 in p25 mode. my bk radio had them for a few. it was when i was driveing eb on us 50. it sound like radio to radio.. i lost them at us 50 and sunrise.
