163.775 mhz had analog and encryted traffic
163.625 mhz has clear voice traiffic all night, using the calls of,foxtrot 50,foxtrot 264 and 1308? gave a call sounding like kknx6? not sure on that as it was broken english, lots of vin numbers ran and a chase on a male subject running down a dirt road, very strong signal here north of corpus (as of 10.36 pm this date units moved to tac?)

FYI, it is helpfull [if your Scanner has the capability] to list as part of the notes.
a.) Analog or P25 [Digital], b.) PL / DPL or NAC and since TX is so large, where you are [Update Profile]

165.2375 CBP Net-01 or TAC-1 in simplex Usually 100.0 Hz or NAC $301
166.4375 input to the Above - Varies on Tone/NAC

163.7750 various CBP agencies, depending on where you are in the Country, but for TX it's been ID'd as the BP

163.6250 is similar to 163.7750 [for the Country] but for TX is ICE

When you can, grab the tones as the ICE network uses a Common Freq input, but each Rptr has it's own tone.

Bill hit them all on the head.

Texas is pretty short on P25 traffic for CBP/ICE (but we've been trying to pin one down in this thread).

166.4375- the sounds you're hearing might be "OTAR" (Over-The-Air-Rekey). You can find a sample of the audio for OTAR on this page, about half way down.

On a side note, I happened to be listening to CBP at 9 am this morning and heard a "birthday of the Border Patrol" message read out over the radio for all agents and stations. Pretty cool to hear a little history lesson...

Thanks for the Wyoming info,, but you might want to post in the Wyoming forum to get more responses. Any NAC Code for the 163.7750 P25 activity?? It could be BP or ICe
