Welcome to the Federal Forum :D

FEDERAL AGENCY - UserID's/RadioID's on P25 Conventional channel List

Since we are covering the Federal Agency NAC's in the other thread topic.
Start logging to build some type of form of National Federal RadioID's/UserID's Numbering Scheme for used in each State/Area.

Example of UserID's
i12345 - FBI
i54321 - ATF
i12345 - Border Patrol
etc....
i12345 - Border Patrol (California) Give a state name where the UserID was heard.

Don't need much details for each ID. Just the basic to start the list. :D

Note: Lets keep this topic for P25 Conventional only. Not talk about P25/Motorola Trunked system RadioID's!

396XT & 996XT Support for P25 Conventional channels that include NAC and TGID's/UserID's user differentiation (P25 One-Frequency Trunk)

Using the Unit ID Feature With the November,2009 or later Uniden XT firmware

Detailed instructions on how to do it on this post #40.

Unit ID's (UIDs or RIDs): Posting Guidelines

Note: GRE PSR500/600 RadioShack106/197 versions etc... Doesn't do RadioID's/UserID's on P25 Conventional channels.
Note: other equipment (Motorola and ICOM PCR-2500,etc) Does decode the RadioID's/UserID's)

If you need to find out if your scanner does RadioID's/UserID's decoding.
Look in Scanners and Receivers Forums or on the Scanner Model on the Wiki page.

Please keep this on topic to Federal UserID's/RadioID's list logging's.

I just tried this out and got it to work. I programed an active conventional ICE channel as a One channel P-25 system and started to get the individual radio ID's. Logged six different radio ID's starting as 6211, 6214 & 6219 followed by a three digit number.

Wow. That is freaking cool that the new Uniden's can do P25 Conventional ID. That could help change my mind about owning one.

But, not to be posting without contributing anything, using my Racal 25 radio, I've seen that the USSS base station hear in San Antonio is 1111111.
