federal freqs foe southern ontario

i live in michigan i have been trying to find federal freqs for southern ontario does anyone have any ideas ?

What federal agencies in particular?

There's a list of RCMP frequencies in the database but they seem to be seldom used these days.

Other then that, I can't think of any other federal agencies except Coast Guard and Customs which might be interesting to listen to.

now that was a quick reply i went and answered a question on my federal freq. group and here was a reply i am looking for customs and the the freqs for pelee park also is pelee island federal in canada ?

It would appear that Pelee Island National Park (yes it is federal) has a repeater on 169.4550 and can also operate simplex on 169.4550 and 171.2100. I found these using http://sd.ic.gc.ca/engdoc/main.jsp.

IIRC, Customs in Sarnia and Windsor were using UHF frequencies around 410Mhz. Can't remember the frequencies offhand but I believe they were low powered repeaters at the border crossings. The radios at the time were Midlands.

Try 410.4625. If not, there may be one nearby such as .3875 or .4375 . Not much shows up in TAFL, except 452.1375 in Hamilton.

thanks for the info i had customs in the scanner and my wife unpluged
it and plugged it back in and it zeroed out the scanner i could hear them
over here and recall thy were around 411.00mhz.

Except for the list of RCMP repeaters that were floating around, there's not much in the way of Federal activity.

There would be Environment Canada's weather radio stations, Coast Guard and some National Park stuff but that's about it.

I found the National Park stuff on TAFL but I've never heard anything on it.
