418.9000Mhz was used extensively by DEA; 163.2000Mhz was US Marshalls. I'm sure they are encrypted now, this was back in the early 90's.

Plenty here in the South Alabama area. Customs, Border Patrol, (Both now ICE), FBI, Marshals, DEA.

Most federal stuff in the B'ham area is encrypted, especially FBI. Customs, BATF & DEA sometimes in the clear.

All the government stuff is encrypted or digital,for the most part sometimes you can hear them on their frequencies in the clear as i have heard Customs aircraft tailing somebody in Tennesse talking to his ground units as well.
