FedEX DMR system KIND

Looking at the licenses, and mods etc... Looking like they added 1 maybe 2 mini sites onto the system. Might need to make a trip out by KIIND and do some sleuthing with my 436.

KIND is always a fun place to check out with the scanner. I sat in the cell phone lot and a couple of hours one day & was amazed at all the radio traffic in the area.

Starting to hear activity at the new Greenwood FedEx Ground warehouse:

461.700 CC7 TS1 TG 101
463.325 CC7 TS1 TG 103

I've seen these color codes and talkgroup combos in us at other FedEx facilities in the database.

Sorry to resurrect but I'm starting to get a system using the FedEx Frequencies at the Airport, SYSID is 536 with apparently 2 sited, Talkgroup ID's are in the same block, CC for site one right now is 858.7875, got hits on 859.7875 and looks like channel 17/18 is 859.8625

has this already been mapped out?

ok anyway im half awake and cant delete my post but I ran system 218 (Hex) 536(Decimal) and I sorted out the LCN and found some talkgroups i could make out

I'm posting here to let you guys confirm before I submit

As they added two sites to it over last couple of years, this now makes sense. It's now 3 site system. One large primary with two "micro" sites. Changing sysID would indicate entire new core or merge of another system though. Unless what has happened is they started the micro sites as another system then merged into primary. The main system has been in DB for long time.

When you submit that, you might want to mention in your submission that the DB currently reflects the hex ID of 218 but DB policy says that DMR system IDs are supposed to be listed as DEC. Ask them to change 218 to 536.

also if you are going to monitor, the busiest times for the Domestic sort will be after 9 PM to say 9 AM the Parade usually starts after the Passenger operations end or at least slow down at the Airport, then the insanity begins

FedEx now has three facilities near the Indianapolis International Airport. The airplane loading/unloading and air package sorting facility is along South Perimeter Road (I-70) west of High School Road. The FedEx Freight facility is south of the air facility on Decatur Blvd. The FedEx Ground facility is close to I-70 and Ameriplex Pkwy. The furthest distance between these three points is about 3.6 air miles. Has FedEx set up their DMR system so it is usable at all three locations...with different talkgroups?

All the sites are at airport on lic as far as I can tell. But are spread out. Once I get home I will see what I can dig up. Once I get discharged from this place.
