FedEx Freight is located off of I-240 and Bryant. Has anyone heard operations? Our supervisors use HT 1000 Motorola Mobiles. I got my Pro-97 and my Pro-83 on signal stalker and no luck! Any sugestions?

If you work there, try to find out how many channels they have and what their uses are. That way, when we find the frequencies, it will be easier to lay out their system. No licenses in the FCC database (did a nationwide search and found 19 hits, none in OKC). In my hometown in Maryland, FedEx uses DPL tones and has a few low-power repeaters. All of those 19 hits in the database were UHF in the business band, some repeaters and some base-mobile only. If I get down there anytime soon, I'll see what I can find. By the way, what are their approximate shift times (when there would be a lot of activity)?

The main activity times on the dock are from about 7pm to 2-3 in the morning. There is A LOT of activity during those times. I didn't really get a good look but i will try again tonight. I even took my 83 out on the dock one night and didn't find anything with signal stalker. Dock supervisors use them to communicate with eachother and the office to get trailers out on time. I kinda got a look at the channel knob and i think i saw 6 channels. There are about 5 or 6 supervisors using them during peak times at night.

I checked again, they are Motorola HT 1000 handhelds with 15 channels. I got my new pro-97 and tried to signal stalk it but came up empty handed again. The parking lot is no more than 30-50 feet away from the dock so I know Im not to far away. Do you remember those frequencies?

Do they work on weekends? I think a 396T with close call will be better than the signal stalker for this. I use both the PRO-97 and 396T and the 396T works a lot better. Can you tell by looking at the antennas what range the comms should be in? UHF? VHF? 800 or higher?

Maybe I can swing by there sometime soon and try to capture some freqs...
