I recently submitted an application to host multiple scanner feeds for my area, but was denied due to a "duplicate". While I understand there is an existing feed in place, the audio quality is poor, one, maybe two, of the frequencies violates Broadcastify's policies, and the host is using outdated equipment.

What steps or additional information are necessary to gain approval for my application?

I plan to utilize several SDS200s and brand-new equipment to ensure high-quality feeds. What steps or additional information are necessary to gain approval for my application?

I could use a $30 SDR dongle and get excellent quality too, and the $600+ SDS scanners may not provide as good quality as the SDR dongle, so type of equipment isn't a factor in feeds. My suggestion is that you attempt to reach out to the current feed provider and ask him if you can take over the feed or if he would fix the audio. Apparently the volunteer staff person who checked your application didn't feel the feed was so bad it wasn't worth listening to.

Good point on equipment. I'll settle down and in.
