I'm having problems with keeping my feed connected to the server, I can't get oddcast to work at all. ScannerCast seemed to be working okay, got an email this morning telling me my feed was offline, last time i checked about 2am it was still up for about 6hrs. Can anyone help me with thats causing this?

I have seen several reports of this either as a feed trouble report or via a posting.

I have informed Gordon & Lindsay.

The issue can be caused by any number of factors: feed owner computer system or internet connection, streaming software, server issues etc.

You might learn something by running a utility such as
PingPlotter
They have a freeware version.
I was able to get the cable company to replace a concentrator in my neighborhood with the evidence of delayed packets and loss of signal at random times.
It might also rule out network problems and point to computer problems causing the execution of the feed program to stop or lockup.

Good luck
Bruce
