Feed states im online, i can hear the hum in the feed but it is not picking up the scanner? One of my listeners told me it said mp3 error? I have restarted everything any ideas?

As dumb as this sounds, have you confirmed that the audio is actually getting from the scanner to the computer? If so, how?
My thought proccess... Sounded like there should be audio because i could hear the small hum of audio... and the soundcard was recieving a signal according to the meter when i tapped on it.. after making sure the audio was coming out of the scanner in the port which it was i then checked the cord. GUESS WHAT? Dog ate through half the cord LMAO i think that was the prob
