The World Horse show is about to kick off in Polk County Tryon, NC
The dates will be September 11-23.
From what information I have is that this will be a joint effort between Viper, Palmetto (SC 800 Mhz) radio
systems and the local 911 center.
There is also talk that the Viper Mobile Tower Trailers will be utilized as well.
I also heard this will be a extensive event with people coming in from all countries around the world.
There is also talk Foreign Dignitaries renting blocks of hotel rooms in downtown Charlotte and being
flown to the event via choppers from the hotel roof tops.
This is a very big national event
So I figure Viper and Palmetto will be buzzing with radio activity.
Also I think the Western State Fair is at the same time.
Radio monitoring should be scanner listeners paradise.
Not to forget about the number of no license and private frequencies that will be used as well.
