Ferry loses power.

The Ferry Tacoma on the Seattle to Bainbridge run has lost power. This has been an active incident for at least an hour . Marine band channel 79 is being used by the ferry crews 156.975

I can only imagine. I'm sooo glad I'm retired.

Back when I was stationed in Seattle, I used to catch that ferry on the weekends. I'd sit on board with a newspaper and a "free refill" cup of coffee and ride it back and forth a few times.

I know it'd be unpleasant to get stuck on there for a couple of hours if you were trying to get home, but it sure beats being stuck in traffic on the freeway.
