While I was listening between 12am & 2am, due to the storm, I picked up a few minor changes to the Clackamas system.

The below talkgroup was being called "East Clackamas 3"
55728 5 HOODLAND FIRE1 (previously, I had this)

"Public Safety 1" was causing great confusion. Deputies need to work with Fire on a incident and couldn't find it. After several minutes, SO Dispatch 3 replied that it was now called "Clackamas A."
However, I could not locate them on the normal PS 1 talkgroup. I'm wondering if they were talking about the Sandy conventional freq of: 868.0500 Clackamas PS1 (Sandy Canyon). I had this plugged in as well, but didn't hear anything from my location.

In addition, not really a change but something different, OR OPS 3 - 867.7250 was rebroadcasting several channels, including CCOM SO 1 & 2, CCOM Fire Dispatch & OPS25 and WCOM Fire Dispatch.

Duane,
OROPS 3 is 866.750, post rebanding will be 851.750. 867.725 is one the channels in the east side Clackamas Simulcast system coming from Goat Mt and Linnhart.

I show Clack A as 64656

Lots of action regarding road closures due to high water and mud slides on 64240 and 55120

Nuts. I knew something was up. It just didn't sound right. All I had was my portable and no notes/docs from my computer to doublecheck last night in the dark @ 2am. I was going to re-check this morning after the power came back on, but got busy with work and went and posted the info.

I assumed 64656 would be Clackamas A (previously called Public Safety 1), but never did hear anything on it.

Yes, CC Roads 64240 and Happy Valley PW 55120 have been quite busy this morning.

BTW, good to hear from you J. :) Where are you that you're hearing them?

Still scratching my head as to how I managed to mess up my OPS channels......

Maybe the only radios using Clack A were affiliated to different sites like the WCCCA site 1 or Clackamas site 3?

Clackamas site 3 is a simulcast system consisting of Goat Mt and Linhart Butte (somewhere near Sandy?) and eventually a new site near Brightwood. Goat used to be an IR site until earlier this year I think when it was reconfigured.

Hey Duane, didn't know you were in this neck of the woods now! Welcome

Hey Jeremy,

Yeah, I'm back in Oregon. Portland area this time. You in this area or still up north farther?

Was in Phoenix all last week on business, so just saw your message.

Duane :)
