I hope that this question hasn't been asked already but here it goes -- If I want to listen to FHP on my PRO-95, what do I need to do? I tried to program in the frequencies that I have found for FHP Troop A but I hear absolutely nothing. Any help for this newbee would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all...

They may have switched to the new MA/Comm radio system. If they have you will not be able to hear them because it uses Pro-Voice digital which no scanner can follow. Also they will be using full-time encryption on the system ,so even if a Pro-Voice scanner comes out it will not do us any good.

FHP Still on VHF in Panhandle for now

The FHP are still on the VHF radio in the Panhandle of Florida. They have not made the switch yet to 800mhz. I'm holding my breath they will not switch. The frequency you need to listen to for the Pensacola Florida area is 155.490.

They have switched in the Panhandle at least in the Tallahassee area. A buddy of mine is a Tropper and he is only using the new radio in his car. He carries the new HT. His old one stays in the house.
