FHP talk group activity counting

I understand that all FHP talkgroups are fully encrypted on SLERS, but does anyone monitor the talk groups anyway for activity counting purposes? It might be interesting to know which talk groups get the most 'hits' at certain times of the day.

I'm glad that I lived in Florida for at least a time in the early 2000s when it was possible to monitor FHP on the old P25 system before they went with ProVoice.

I remember listening to FHP, FWC, etc. back in the day. Sometimes I wish there was a setting for my x36 and SDS scanners stop on encrypted communications. I could then set one scanner to observe the number of E communications in my area every now and then.

At least now I live in Arkansas, where the State Police are unencrypted. Only my local police are encrypted here.
