I got my 1st HF Transciever Thursday and tossed up a temporary OCF dipole late last night. The good news is I made my first ever contacts on 40m, 20m, and 10m during field day to Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, and Indiana. The bad news is the transceiver kept knocking out my WI-FI and would broadcast on my home intercom system.

Congrats on ur first HF contacts. Field Day is great for just that!!!
As for the RFI, once you get the OCFD installed you can tackle that! A common mode choke may be in order...as well as some mitigation to the devices themselves!
